1) Talking to an audience on YouTube is like talking to a live person, and when you're talking to people, eye contact is key.
2) Make videos that range anywhere from 15 seconds - a short video - to a maximum of two to three minutes.
3) Be funny, be interesting to watch.
4) Watch the lighting. Without artificial lighting, videos shot inside tend to appear dark.
5) Know what you're going to say before you say it. Some improvisation might be fine if you're gifted at it, but even so, write a script.
