'Time' - Review
Lazzeroni graced us with his newest single TIME. It was released on May 1st this year, and it has been added to my playlist. If you’re a #lazzeronilistener, then you should already fall in love with this piece. It’s delicate, soft and the chords compliments the overall message.
Within the first few beats, I can tell, when listening to #writingtothemusic, when his pieces pop up in my playlist. I play a little game with myself by guessing the composer or pianist, and (I’m going to brag) I’m usually spot on with guessing. I’m 100% each time when it comes to Lazzeroni. His style is very unique, and if you follow his articles it makes sense. These articles reminded me of my theory days to where I pulled out my first theory book.

Fleeting time is the traditional saying, and you get a sense of that when it comes to the melody. Just about 20 seconds in, I love those top notes decorating the song like icing on the cake. The story really picks up there. Even with a minute left in the this beautiful piece, it still holds my interest waiting for more, and Lazzeroni delivers.
It’s is short and sweet, and if lyrics were written, I’d be singing them all day. I’ve listen to this on repeat for the past month when easing myself back into editing. It brings memories when I started this journey in writing and motivation to keep going.
Not to play on names, but time is slipping and I need to get it into gear any hurry this WIP along.
